Maria Guerreros
National Chief Executive Assistant and Operations Coordinator
Maria Guerreros was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 1980. She attended Miami Dade College where she earned an Associate in Arts in Early Childhood Education.
Maria has worked in the non-profit sector for more than ten years. She joined People For the American Way Foundation in 2002 as an Administrative Assistant and Florida Finance Associate. In 2004 People For the American Way Foundation, in partnership with the Center for Immigrant Democracy, launched Democracia U.S.A. Maria has since then been working as an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager working very closely with the Democracia team.
Maria is married and has two boys, Fabian and Nicolas. In her spare time, Maria enjoys, taking her kids to their baseball academy, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
