Background:
Worked in issue and candidate campaigns for 30 years. Consultant since 1988, providing a wide range of services to state Legislative, County Commission, School Board, Congressional, Gubernatorial, City Council, and Mayoral campaigns and to various advocacy groups including targeting, press relations, public speaking, fund-raising, data management, field strategies, message, design and implementation of proactive vote-by-mail programs, early vote and GOTV programs, mail design and traffic, compliance, budget, financial reporting, and management.
National Operations Manager for Democracia U.S.A., a project of People For the American Way Foundation – manage operations, data and finance for multi-state civic engagement project, beginning in 2007.
Consultant to Democracia U.S.A. – provided targeting, program, data, and campaign support to field programs in Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Arizona, 2006.
Executive Director for America Coming Together – Central Florida during the 2004 election cycle. Managed extensive staff and door-to-door field programs in Orange, Osceola, Brevard, and Volusia.
Campaign Manager for the 2004 re-election of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.
Field Director for Mobility 20/20 in 2003 (a county-wide transportation sales tax initiative).
Field Director for the 2003 Special Election of Buddy Dyer for Mayor of Orlando.
General Consultant to Coordinated Campaign, local Democratic Party, Central Florida AFL-CIO, Orange County teachers’ union, Central Florida Building Trades Council in 2000-2004.
Central Florida Regional Coordinator for House Victory 2000. Responsible for plan development and implementation for 8 candidates in the region.
