Rudi Navarra
Following his graduation from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, Rudi Navarra joined Democracia USA in 2006 as a field organizer in Central Florida where he worked with the Orlando team in registering voters, getting out the vote and on Election Protection campaigns. In 2007, Rudi was relocated to Miami as an operations planner & training coordinator to assist with day-to-day national operations.
Rudi's background is diverse and befits Democracia USA. In graduate school, he concentrated on the role non-governmental and non-profit organizations play in the development of social, political, and economic trends in society. To this end, Rudi worked at Common Cause in Washington, DC, contributing to media campaigns, membership outreach, advocacy research and fundraising. At Sustainable Pittsburgh, he worked in community outreach and communications to promote and facilitate the sustainable and equitable development of the southwestern Pennsylvania region.
Rudi completed his undergraduate degree at Duquesne University in Communication Studies and furthered his experience with a well-rounded exposure to public relations and alternative communication solutions at various marketing agencies, non-profit organizations and private companies in both Pittsburgh and New York City. Rudi has amassed significant international experience having lived and worked in Colombia, France and Venezuela, among other countries. In his spare time, Rudi enjoys yoga, jogging, travel, films, philanthropic ventures, exploring nature, volunteering, and discovering ethnic and cultural city hotspots.
