Democracia USA is teaming up with the Telemundo and Mun2 networks to launch 'Vota Por Tu Futuro,' a national non-partisan Hispanic voter registration campaign.

'Vota Por Tu Futuro' and Democracia USA share the same core mission: to increase the number of Hispanic voters by educating, registering and inspiring Hispanics to exercise their power and voice through voting.

Democracia USA is one of only four organizations collaborating with the networks' efforts.

'We're very excited about the potential to reach millions of unregistered voters through the tremendous reach and credibility of Spanish-language television,' said Jorge Mursuli, national director of Democracia USA. 'If Hispanic citizens and the Hispanic community participate fully in the process, we can influence elections and policies on the national, state and local level. Together with Telemundo and Mun2 networks, we will bring that message to millions of Hispanic citizens.'

The campaign will feature PSAs shot by Telemundo's on-air news and sports personalities, including Maria Antonieta Collins, Andres Cantor and Maria Celeste Arraras. The voter registration message will be carried by their programs, including Al Rojo Vivo, Noticiero Telemundo and Primer Hora.

Mun2 will educate the public on voter registration and voting on its programs - Vivo, One Nation Under Hip Hop and The mun2 Shift.

Democracia USA will help further the campaign by hosting or assisting with local events, including town halls, open forums and online polling to educate the community about the importance of voting, and register Hispanic citizens.
